Here is the crew on our first bike ride of the season. Yes, Anna's eyes are closed. If the stroller wasn't in constant motion she was not a happy camper.

Our adventure turned up this very cool log. It was an old tree that fell sometime in late January. The February and March snowfalls buried it for a few weeks. Now, uncovered by the thaw, we can clearly see the comfortable little house that something made. I am thinking chipmunks, but not entirely sure. Yes, that middle hole was the family toilet. It is plum full of what is better known as scat. Pretty cool!!

This is the formerly dry area behind our goat pen. The amount of runoff this year is amazing and the boys of course couldn't resist the urge.

And this area looks like a pond but it is also normally a dry spot. The boys' ATV trail runs through here during the rest of the year. They have been given strict intstructions to stay away from the water until it goes down. We don't need any drowned boys! The picture doesn't do it justice, but it is pretty deep.

And finally, the youngster keeps on a'growin. She is such a joy and Derick captured her latest facial thing- this scrunched up smile- on camera. I guess it looks more like a growl but it really is a smile! She cracks me up every time she does it, which is often.
Enjoy!!

Oh man your kids are getting so big! And cuter by the year as well. I love that picture of the log. My kids and I are reading Mrs Frisby and the Rats of Nimh right now, and that log reminds me of the Frisbys home in the garden. Did you ever read that book?
Thanks so much for all the cool pictures. Keep them coming!
