Things we're growing on "the farm" this year

Our very first rooster... Did you know roosters have to practice their crow? He is like an adolescent boy with a squeak in his voice! It is so funny to hear him try his darndest to "cock-a-doodle-do" and all he can manage is a few little "awks". But, by golly , the hens listen to him anyway. Figures. ;)

Mmmmmm.... fresh veggies. Sweet corn, radishes, cukes, onions, peas, beans, squash and who knows what else. This is only half of the garden.

Turkeys. (Derick's idea)

Apples...

Goats. No, we don't milk them. No, I don't know why we have them. Except they're cute.

Oh yeah. And these guys. I'm not sure what they are but they seem to be hanging around a lot. They like lots of attention and eat just about anything. Anyone know where I can find a book that might help me out? I think I rather like them and would like to keep them if I can...

Have a great night everyone!

Awww! Now that is a cute little crew of farm helpers!
I didn't know roosters have to practice either. No wonder they sound so pleased with themselves when they get it right.

Oh my GOSH, they've gotten so BIG!

So... the goats are like garden gnomes for your farm? (They're quite tasty, you know. Really.)
