We went swimming at a nearby park yesterday to try and beat the heat.
Here is the man of the hour with his two sons who worship his every move. ( oh my goodness are they skinny. I do feed them, I promise!)

Here are the bathing beauties of the family. (minus mom- but that's just fine)

The crew in the water. Once again, Anna proved true to her tendency to be a slow-to-warm child. She hated the water for the first five minutes but once she got used to it she absolutely loved it. (She's the same way with people she doesn't know)

The obligatory rabbit ears shot.

And here is Dad and his twin.
I am never good at thinking of sappy and warm-fuzzy lists of why we love our dad the best and such. So I will illustrate the kind of relationship he has with his children with a little story.Last week, Samantha was gone all day Tuesday and so did not get to see her dad. Wednesday he was up early and gone all day so she did not get to see her dad. Wednesday night we were discussing Thursday's plans and when I mentioned that Dad would probably be gone all day again, the child got the biggest crocodile tears welled up in her eyes. When I asked her what was wrong she said that she hadn't gotten to see her dad for two whole days and she was really missing him.
Enough said.
Have a great day!

Love your blog - saw your name on a comment. Looks like you had a great father's day - what a beautiful family:)
Thanks so much! They are pretty special to me.
Glad to have you visiting. Come back again soon! ;)
Beautiful family! He is cute, and it looks like you all have a lot of laughter!
You don't need sappy when you've got such a great life you're living and enjoying. Right there. At your fingertips.
LOL @ feeding the kids. James eats as much as Zorak, but you can see every bone and joint on his scant little form. I don't know what he does with all of it...
Happy Father's Day!
